Courting the Ladies

Bull moose engage in a variety of interesting behavior during the autumn rut. According to Vic Van Ballenberghe, a pre-eminent Alaska moose biologist, they will court cows with a variety of behavior, from sounds and body postures to flicking their tongues and licking their lips as they approach cows.
