The incredible diversity of wildlife on this planet is staggering. If I were to make a career of wildlife photography, I still could not capture them all. I strive to understand and photograph wildlife in places where I visit, and in the area near my home in Alaska. And whether they are creatures great or small, I always enjoy the experience of observing and photographing wildlife. They add a very personal touch to any location. And for areas I frequent, having certain wildlife show up frequently is like seeing an old friend.
