Coastal landscapes around the world provide amazing views, stunning points for reflection, and insights into our geologically-shaped world. They are dividing zones between habitats, sometimes sloping gradually and others rising abruptly. As I travel around Alaska, or even other parts of the world, I inescapably find myself engaged with the many opportunities that the coast provides. Alaska has more coastline than all other U.S. states combined, and the Earth is covered with 71% water, so there are a lot of options to consider. Enjoy this visual journey of the zone between land and sea.
