The circumpolar Arctic is a landscape of infinite wonders. The land forms are unique, inspiring, otherworldly, romantic. They are bathed in a light that possesses a quality not found anywhere else on the planet. And life in the Arctic has adapted to meet the challenges posed by its extreme qualities, from long periods of darkness or light to extremely cold temperatures. Across boundaries, people live a life of purpose and determination, sometimes in celebration. Over the years, I have strove to capture this incredible landscape and a way of life that knows no territorial boundaries. Images in this gallery were captured in Canada, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
