Turnagain Arm Landscapes

The Turnagain Arm is a geographical feature immediately to the south of Anchorage, Alaska. It offers an infinite variety of photo opportunities for wildlife, flowers, and landscapes, both in the morning and the evening.

The incredible diversity, paired with Carl’s experience in photographing the Turnagain Arm for 18 years, creates a perfect opportunity for field instruction on a variety of techniques.

Your day tour of the Arm will be tailored to meet your interests and instructional needs. The fee covers at least four hours in the field with instruction as needed, plus transportation, snacks, and beverages. Depending on weather and tidal conditions, the tour may be split up between morning and evening to capture the best light. This tour is available year-round.
